Bomb scare at Boehner Ohio office

Authorities are investigating a bomb scare outside the West Chester, Ohio office of House Speaker John Boehner.

The bomb squad was called in yesterday, and a robot removed three briefcases that had been left outside the office and blew them up.

The briefcases had handwritten signs attached.

It turned out the briefcases contained only papers, authorities say.

The briefcases were first spotted by a police officer on patrol.

Authorities are still trying to learn how the briefcases got there.
