Boeing bags 100-jet order at Paris Air Show

LE BOURGET, France - Boeing (BA) says Dutch-based leasing company AerCap is ordering 100 of the plane-maker's 737 jets

Boeing announced the order for the popular single-aisle 737MAX-8 planes at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday. It is the biggest single order yet at this week's show.

The deal is worth up to $10.7 billion, though customers routinely negotiate discounts off list prices.

Boeing and rival Airbus are battling for big plane sales at the air show.
