(CBS) A year after being denied by the Beijing government, Bob Dylan has been approved to play two dates in China in April. The times, apparently, they are a-changin'.

Dylan will play Beijing at the Workers' Gymnasium on April 6 and Shanghai on Arpil 8 at the Grand Stage.

"These Bob Dylan concerts are destined to be one of the year's major tours and a musical event of depth, grace and greatness," the promoters said in a statement.

According to the New York Times, the tickets will range from 280 yuan ($42) to 1,961.411 yuan (about $294).

In recent years in concert, Dylan has played a range of songs from his sizable catalog, from the folk of the 1960s to the swampy guitar-based rock of "Beyond Here Life Nothin'" from the recent "Together Through Life." Dylan has stuck mostly to the organ on stage, though he does still play guitar live.
