Bill Cosby: Fable With Lesson

Bill Cosby has humored and entertained many over the years. But he also helped many with his simple truth in some of life's complex questions.

In his latest project, Bill Cosby has authored a children's book, "Friends of a Feather: One of Life's Little Fables." Cosby visited The Early Show to discuss the book he says teaches children the importance of taking on tasks for their own sake, and not to impress.

His eldest daughter, Erika Cosby, an accomplished artist, collaborated in "Friends of a Feather," to illustrate the story. She joined her father to discuss the book.

In the book, three unique friends meet for the first time and perform some risky acts for themselves, and later for the amusement of an audience.

But, the friends soon learn that being in the limelight to impress others can sometimes lead to disaster.
