Bilbray To Testify In Federal District Court
Republican Rep. Brian P. Bilbrary of California - who replaced jailed ex-Rep Duke Cunningham last year after the former fighter pilot pleaded guilty to public corruption - announced Friday he has agreed to answer questions before a federal court in the District of Columbia.
The Republican made his announcement in a letter that was read on the House floor Friday afternoon following the last round of votes.
I have a call in to Bilbray's office. So more details to follow - I hope. But what is going on this week? This makes it two FBI raids, one member of Congress answering questions in U.S. district court and another aide also testifying in a federal court.
