Beyonce's Sister Mum On Wedding Reports

Pop diva Beyonce Knowles' 21-year-old singer/actress sister, Solange, won't comment on her big sister's rumored wedding to Jay-Z.

Solange, who is currently promoting her upcoming album called "SoL - AngeL & The Hadley Street Dreams," stopped by The Showbuzz studio in New York, (the same city where the wedding is supposed to have taken place) but made it clear that she wouldn't fess up about Beyonce and Jay-Z's reported matrimonial bliss.

"What brought me to New York was work," Solange said with a timid chuckle. "I am releasing my record, so of course I am out here getting the buzz out, but I don't comment on any of my family's personal lives or even my personal life."

The young talent, who was making guest appearances at several media outlets in New York, resides in Houston, and travels frequently back and forth to Los Angeles.

Wedding rumors have been swirling around about Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, tying the knot after a five year relationship.

The wedding has not been officially confirmed, however, a source told People.com that the wedding did indeed take place.

Gossip sites showed photos Friday of orchids being delivered to the building and a tent set up on what was said to be the balcony of Jay-Z's (also known as Shawn Carter) home.

E! News quoted the owner of Amy's Orchids in Thailand as saying her company shipped orchids to New York for Knowles' and Carter's wedding Friday. A designer in the city used 60,000 orchids to create "eight-foot garlands that hung down from the ceiling to make the location look like an orchid palace."

Guests began to arrive in the evening, with paparazzi making it difficult for the revelers' Mercedes and SUVs to make their way into the building's garage. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, a friend of Knowles, was photographed arriving at the scene.

People.com also reported that - according to an unnamed source - Knowles, 26, and Carter, filed for a marriage license in the village of Scarsdale, N.Y., on April Fool's Day.

On Saturday night, R& B singer Mary J. Blige dedicated a song to her tour mate Jay-Z and Beyonce.
