Bernhard Goes Maternal

Actress Sandra Bernhard gave birth to a baby girl over the holiday weekend.

Cicely Yasin Bernhard was born Saturday to the 42-year-old actress. And there's no information forthcoming from publicist Tresa Redburn about the baby's father.

Bernhard has appeared in such TV series as Roseanne, Ally McBeal, Politically Incorrect, and Chicago Hope.

She has a third book coming out in November, titled May I Kiss You On The Lips, Miss Sandra?

Her one-woman show, I'm Still Here Damn It, will be broadcast Friday on HBO.
