(CBS) Oscar-winning actor Benicio del Toro is expecting a child with Kimberly Stewart, the daughter of rock star Rod Stewart.
"Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive," del Toro's rep, Robin Baum, told Life & Style magazine on Monday. "Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby."
A source also confirmed the news to People magazine, adding that the actor "is supportive and both are very excited" about the pregnancy.
Del Toro, 44, won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in 2000's "Traffic". He is also known for his work in 2003's "21 Grams" and 2008's "Che." He was recently seen in "The Wolfman," alongside Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins.
Stewart, 31, who has worked as a model and actress, has been romantically linked to actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans.
