NEW YORK (CBS) When Angelina Jolie faced the cameras in Cancun, Mexico, Wednesday for an international press junket to promote her new thriller "Salt" the actress wore a knee-length white strapless dress and sported a new hairstyle with bangs by David Babaii.

Here's how Babaii said he achieved the sleekly styled look in what he called the "unique styling challenges" of a tropical cliumate.

"After cutting the bangs a bit shorter and chipping into them so they appeared even softer and swept away, I dampened her hair and applied Moroccanoil Treatment to protect it during blowdrying, prevent frizz in this a very damp environment, and lock in weightless, natural-looking shine," Babaii explained.

Next he applied a styling cream to create a soft hold and smooth any bends in her texture, made a side part and swept the bangs to the left. Then, he created three sections of hair: two on the side and a larger one in the back.

"I used a large round brush to blow each section smooth," he said. "To complete the look, I manipulated the hair and tousled it for a natural, bohemian touch.

"I finished with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray for strong hold that kept the style in place but allowed it to move naturally," he said.
