(CBS) David and Victoria Beckham's newborn daughter, Harper Seven Beckham, is already setting trends - and she's not even two weeks old.

Sales of Harper Lee's classic novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" reportedly soared after it was revealed that the Beckhams named their daughter after the author.

Britain's Daily Mail reports that sales of the book - which was first published in 1960 - went up 123 percent on the U.K.'s Amazon website after David mentioned the inspiration behind the baby girl's name.

"A lot of thought goes into our children's names, and Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons," he said in a video posted on his Facebook page. "One reason is Harper's an old English name, which we loved, and one of the other reasons was Victoria's favorite book is 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and the author was Harper Lee. It's a very strong, passionate book. That's where Harper came from."

On Monday, the couple shared two photos of Harper, who was born on July 10 in Los Angeles. She joins big brothers Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.
