Lindsay Lohan is sitting down for an interview with Barbara Walters.

The interview will air on ABC's "20/20" on Nov. 16, Walters announced on Monday's episode of "The View." It paves the way for Lohan's would-be comeback project, the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," which premieres later that month.

"Lindsay will be doing an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters within the next few weeks. Lindsay greatly admires and respects Barbara, and is looking forward to sitting down with her," Lohan's representative told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Liz & Dick" stars the 26-year-old actress as screen diva Elizabeth Taylor. It spotlights Taylor's quarter-century love affair with celebrated leading man Richard Burton, whom she married and divorced twice.

Grant Bowler, whose credits include the TV series "True Blood" and "Lost," plays Burton in the film.
