Author Bob Woodward Takes Aim at Obama

Celebrated political author Bob Woodward is set to shine a spotlight on the Obama administration in a new book coming out in September.

Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Victoria Meyer confirmed the Woodward release, currently listed on Amazon.com, but declined further comment on Wednesday. The book does not yet have a title or announced print run.

On Amazon, it is shown with a list price of $30, available on pre-order for $19.80

Woodward, the former investigative reporter known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the Watergate scandal with Washington Post colleague Carl Bernstein, wrote four best sellers about the Bush administration that featured interviews with the president and other top officials.

An associate editor of The Washintgton Post, where he has worked since 1971, Woodward also has written books about Nixon's resignation, President Clinton's first term, the Supreme Court in the Burger years, the CIA under William Casey, the Pentagon and the death of comedian John Belushi.
