NEW YORK (CBS) Ashton Kutcher is not too thrilled about a report that says he cheated on his wife, actress Demi Moore.

On Wednesday, Star magazine published a story that claims Kutcher was seen getting cozy with "a hot young blonde" at a Los Angeles restaurant.

The story quoted an eyewitness, who said, "Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her. I was shocked to see him sucking face with a girl who obviously wasn't Demi."

The "Punk'd" creator immediately fired back upon discovering the report.

"I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character," Kutcher wrote on his Twitter page. "I hope my lawyer agrees."

Kutcher continued to express his frustration with a second post: "Star magazine - you don't get to stand behind 'freedom of the press' when you are writing fiction.

Meanwhile, Moore stood by her man, who is 15 years her junior, and expressed support on her Twitter page, writing, "Excellent point my love!"

A Star magazine spokesperson told Access Hollywood that they "stand by its story."

Kutcher, 32, and Moore, 47, have been married since 2005. The two will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary at the end of September.
