Asa George dead: Wisc. police investigating death of former TV anchor, report says
(CBS) - Police in suburban Milwaukee are investigating the death of Asa George, a former news anchor for CBS affiliate WDJT, the station reports.
Citing a Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office report, the station says police went to George's home after her father reported he hadn't been able to get in touch with her in four days.
Firefighters who entered George's apartment through a window found the 34-year-old woman dead in a bathtub full of water, WDJT reported. The responders also reportedly found a malnourished boxer dog.
The medical examiner's office has yet to release a cause of death, reports the station. The office is awaiting toxicology results.
George had also previously reported for Dayton, Ohio's WKEF, reports WHIOTV.com.
