Prosecutors earlier this month filed a motion seeking a DNA sample from William Curl, who is charged with first-degree murder in Antinette's death.

During an appearance Tuesday at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore, public defender Regina Harris agreed to the request.

Prosecutors say they want Curl's DNA to determine if shoes retrieved from a landfill are his.

The 18-year-old Keller, of Plainfield, was last seen Oct. 14 when friends said the art student was headed to a park and nature preserve near NIU.

Curl was charged even though the burnt human remains found Oct. 16 haven't been positively identified as Keller's.
