Anna Faris and Chris Pratt expecting first child

(CBS News) Anna Faris and her husband, "Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt, are expecting a baby.

The actress, 35, is due to give birth this fall, her rep told People.

Faris and Pratt, 32, got engaged in 2008 and wed the following year - and they haven't been shy about their intentions to start a family.

"I would love to have eight [kids]!" Faris told E! News last fall. "I don't think I could handle it, though."

Faris stars with Sacha Baron Cohen in "The Dictator," which hits theaters May 16. She's attached to several upcoming projects, including "Red Band" with Hugh Jackman and Emma Stone" and "I Give It a Year," which she's currently filming in London .

Pratt, meanwhile, will star in director Kathryn Bigelow's new film "Zero Dark Thirty" with Jessica Chastain.
