Anger at Olympic Judge Fuels Bomb Threat

Police have arrested a South Korean man accused of threatening to blow up Australia's embassy in Seoul because of a decision made by an Australian speedskating judge at the Olympics.

Police official Kang Tae-yong said Friday that the 35-year-old man made the threat by text message a day earlier. He says police searched the Australian Embassy in central Seoul but did not find a bomb.

The suspect, identified only by his surname, Kim, told investigators he was upset after Australian referee Jim Hewish disqualified the South Korean team in the women's 3,000-meter relay after they finished first.

If convicted, he could face up to three years in prison.
