Angelina Jolie to Direct First Feature Film
NEW YORK (CBS) She's conquered the world of movies as an actress, and now Angelina Jolie is looking to try her hand as a director.
The 35-year-old mother of six is set to make her directorial debut for an upcoming feature film - a love story set during the Bosnian war, GK Films confirmed on their website.
The untitled film will be based on the original screenplay written by Jolie and will include actors of "various ethnicities of the former Yugoslavia."
She was recently photographed in Budapest, Hungary with 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, reportedly researching for locations. She also traveled to Bosnia and Herzegovina, meeting with leaders to discuss the country's displaced population.
The Oscar-winning actress will not appear in the film, but will take producing credits alongside GK Film's Graham King and Tim Headington. The three of them recently collaborated on the upcoming film "The Tourist," which stars Jolie and Johnny Depp.
