Amy Schumer has some good news and some bad news.
First, the good news: The comedian's series, "Inside Amy Schumer," has been renewed for a fifth season, months before the fourth season premieres on Comedy Central. This is not surprising though, seeing as the show won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2015.
(Other good news? "Broad City" has been renewed for seasons four and five!)
Now, the bad news: In the same tweet celebrating the series' pick up, she also joked, "And my boyfriend and I got engaged and married and had a baby and he cheated on me with the nanny!"
The boyfriend in question is Ben Hanisch, and Schumer is using the attention around their relationship to support a cause close to her heart: She tweeted a picture of the two cuddling and linked to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's donation page.
Hanisch, a Chicago-based furniture designer, was first to Instagram a picture of the two. "Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it," he wrote on New Year's Eve. "Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!"
Naturally, Schumer responded in the comments, "I'm pregnant. I didn't know how else to tell you."
The Trainwreck actress previously revealed what she looks for in a guy. "He has to be funny, he has to be nice, and he has to have a normal relationship with his mother," she said. We at least know Hanisch seems nice!
The news of Schumer's new boyfriend has taken the Internet by storm and ET has all the details after the actress went public with the relationship:
