Amy Schumer parodies One Direction with "Girl, You Don't Need Makeup"

When boy bands like One Direction sing that girls "don't know [they're] beautiful," do they really mean it?

Amy Schumer doesn't think so, and did a pitch-perfect parody of those odes asking girls to go to au naturel on Tuesday's episode of "Inside Amy Schumer."

In "Girl, You Don't Need Makeup," a quartet of guys urges Schumer to go makeup-free. But when she does...well, let's just say they change their tune on fresh-faced beauty really quickly.

"Girl, I can't be seen with the ghost from 'The Ring,'" one tells her, while another croons, "It's like I tore up a shag carpet assuming there were hardwood floors underneath, but it turned out to be just dirty linoleum -- these are just metaphors, but they are about your face."


Schumer also took the topic to Twitter, where she called on fans to post their makeup-free photos with the hashtag #girlyoudontneedmakeup and shared a selfie of her own:
