As the world was captivated today by the exquisite British royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William, now esteemed as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, we found the most recent equivalent of a regal wedding in the U.S. -- that of Lyndon Johnson's daughter Luci in 1966.
America may lack a monarchy, but when the children of presidents get married, their special day can be celebrated just as much as if they were a real prince or princess.
