Amber Alert for Jashayla Markiaya Hopson, six-year-old Miss. girl taken from school

(CBS/WKRG) MOBLIE, Ala. - Officials issued an Amber Alert early Wednesday for a missing Mississippi girl who could have been brought into Alabama.

Authorities say six-year-old Jashayla Markiaya Hopson was taken from her school in Kemper County Tuesday, reports CBS affiliate WKRG.

The 6-year-old was last seen wearing turquoise pants and a pink shirt with ice cream designs. Jashayla has a scar on her right cheek, officials say.

According to the Amber Alert, police are looking for a gray, 4-door sedan driven by a young black female, which was last seen driving toward Alabama.
