Alysa Gibson, Ariz. teen, is the fourth arrested in alleged family murder plot
(CBS) PEORIA, Ariz. - Police say that a 17-year-old girl has been charged as an adult in connection with the murder of her father on March 1, according to the Phoenix New Times.
Alysa Gibson was reportedly arrested on Tuesday on charges of first degree murder, conspiracy and hindering.
According to CBS affiliate KPHO, police say Michelle Gibson, 41, Steven Gibson Jr, 16, Alysa Gibson, 17, and two others orchestrated a plot to kill 39-year-old Steven Gibson. Michelle and Steve, Jr., have both pleaded not guilty to the murder charges against them.
Eric McBee, 16, was also reportedly arrested for his alleged role in the murder. According to KPHO, police say Michelle Gibson offered McBee and another 16-year-old $2,000 to murder her husband, Steven. McBee allegedly beat Steven Gibson with a baseball bat while he was sleeping. Police say that after the beating, Steven, Jr., arrived at the home and stabbed his father.
According to the New Times, the man's body was then placed in the home's garage, and Michelle Gibson called 911 to report her husband's death.
