Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale Debut New TV Show

NEW YORK (CBS) Get the couch ready: Fall TV is here.

"Hellcats," a new cheerleading show staring Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka of the singing duo Aly & AJ, premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET on the CW network.

Michalka, 21, plays a broke law student who reluctantly applies for a cheerleading scholarship so she can stay in school. Tisdale, 25, is the queen of the cheerleaders.

Both actresses took part in theFashion's Night Out eventin New York Tuesday night and are featured on the cover Seventeen magazine, in which they talk about old Hollywood glamour.

" When I think about old Hollywood and the glamour of those days, women like Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn were not dressing the way some girls dress today," said Michalka. "There was a certain mystery about them, and I feel like that's gone in our industry."
