Alleged Palin Stalker Hit With Protective Order

An Alaska judge has issued a six-month protective order against a Pennsylvania man accused of stalking former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Judge Suzanne Cole found 18-year-old Shawn Christy stalked the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate and ordered him to not follow or otherwise stalk Palin and to have no communication with her or her family.

The order comes after a 20-day restraining order was issued last month.

Palin and her lawyer have said the man from McAdoo, Pa., made implied threats on the phone, telling Palin he was buying a one-way ticket to Alaska and sending a receipt for a gun purchase.

Palin indicated in court papers filed Monday that she was fearful that Christy's conduct would result in her death or injury.
