Alicia Keys, Ciara come out for Black Girls Rock 2012

Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria were among the stars who stepped out for the 2012 Black Girls Rock bash Saturday night at Paradise Theater in New York.

The celebration is tied to DJ Beverly Bond's non-profit organization of the same name, dedicated to promoting the arts for young women of color.

The star-studded event, set to air Nov. 4 on BET, featured performances by Keys, Ciara, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, India.Arie and SWV.

Singers Dionne Warwick and Janelle Monae, as well as Keys and Washington, all received special honors at the ceremony. Co-hosted Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, Black Girls Rock also featured appearances by Anthony Hamilton, Missy Elliot, Eric Benet and Luke James, among others.
