Alec Baldwin to Be Honored by the Museum of the Moving Image

NEW YORK (CBS) Actor Alec Baldwin will be the featured guest when the Museum of the Moving Image presents its Annual Salute early next year in New York.

He joins a list of past honorees that include Clint Eastwood, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg.

Rochelle Slovin, the museum's director, said it is fitting for the "30 Rock" actor to be the 26th Honoree."

"The Museum of the Moving Image is proud to be honoring one of our great friends and supporters, as well as a terrific actor, activist and consummate New Yorker," Slovin said. "His work in film, television and theatre is outstanding, and is as diverse and entertaining as the man we have the pleasure of Saluting."

The Annual Salute will be held on Feb. 28, 2011, at the museum in New York.
