Al Doury's Group Claims Attack On U.S. Patrol In Karma

In an internet statement dated 3 August 2008, Iraqi militant group run by Saddam's former deputy Izzet Ibrahim al-Doury known as "The General Command of the Iraqi Army" claimed it carried out an IED attack on a U.S. patrol in al Karma Anbar Province. The statement said an armored vehicle had been destroyed in the attack, and that all soldiers onboard were either killed or wounded. The group accompanied the statement with a short clip of the operation.
