(CBS News) Adele just announced her pregnancy on June 29, but reports say she may give birth as soon as September.

That would make her roughly seven months pregnant. It would also mean she was with baby when she swooped up six Grammys in February.

The 24-year-old British singer didn't reveal how far along she was when she announced the news last month. But U.K. magazine Heat cites a source, who says she's due very soon.

"Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible," the insider told Heat, adding, "She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it's been all about the baby."

Although there's no official due date confirmation, Adele has been scarce in recent months. She bowed out of the Billboard Awards in May, and Heat points out that while she attended the Ivor Novello Awards on May 17, she skipped any press events.

Adele announced on her website that she and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, were expecting: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon. Yours always, Adele xx"

Adele and Konecki went public with their relationship in January.
