(CBS) Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, Finnish reality star Sauli Koskinen, were reportedly arrested early Thursday morning after the two got into a fight outside a gay bar in Helsinki.

The "American Idol" runner-up and Koskinen, winner of the Finnish version of "Big Brother," were held for questioning as local police investigated four possible assault offenses, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The two were reportedly kicked out of the bar, called DTM (Don't Tell Mama), after the dispute began but continued fighting on the street outside. THR, citing reports out of Finland, added that Finnish beauty queen Sofia Ruusila claimed she was accidentally struck when she tried to get between the couple.

Police said the two men were released after a few hours and that no further action would be taken, according to the Associated Press.

Koskinen, 26, later blogged about the incident. "Celebrities are people too and fame is not easy," he wrote (in Finnish, as translated by Google). "Love is not always easy either, but it's forever."

Lambert, 29, also mentioned the incident on Twitter, hinting that jetlag and alcohol played a part in what happened and that the two have patched things up.

He wrote, "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us [divided by] blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it."
