Access Your Foxmarks Bookmarks on Your Phone

Remember O-Marks, one of the five iPhone productivity apps we spotlighted a couple weeks ago? It syncs your Foxmarks bookmarks to your iPhone. Well, you can toss that app to the curb and go straight to the source: Foxmarks now offers a mobile version that's optimized for the iPhone and other mobile phones.

Just point your browser to my.foxmarks.com, sign into your Foxmarks account, and presto: You've got easy access to all your desktop bookmarks. (For the uninitiated, Foxmarks is a Firefox extension that automatically syncs your bookmarks to the Web and to your other PCs. It's a must-have, in my book.) You can also search bookmarks, which is useful if you've got a large collection.

Unfortunately, you can't edit or delete bookmarks on your phone, and for the moment Foxmarks doesn't actually sync with your mobile browser (thought that's in the works, according to the developer). Even so, if you're a Foxmarks user, you'll definitely want to take advantage of this new version.
