(CBS/AP) Kid walks into a bar...

Think you've heard that one before? Bar patrons in Butte, Mont., may have thought so, too...until a goat walked into a tavern.

One customer called to complain early Sunday that someone brought the female pygmy goat into an unidentified bar.

The Montana Standard reports an animal control officer picked up the goat outside the watering hole and took it to a shelter.

Animal shelter Supervisor Jacki Casagranda says if the kid's owner doesn't come forward, shelter workers will begin the process to adopt it.

Casagranda says it's the first time an impounded goat has been brought to the shelter.

(Editor's note: Told the whole story, never used the phrase "no kidding")
