CBS News received 19 News and Documentary Emmy Awards nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. CBS News broadcasts recognized for outstanding work were the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH DAN RATHER, 60 MINUTES II, 60 MINUTES, CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING and the CBS EVENING NEWS Weekend Edition.

60 Minutes II tied the CBS Evening News With Dan Rather earning six Emmy Nominations on July 14. Stories included in the nomination are as follows:
