The book, which is compared to both Niccolò Machiavelli's The Prince and Sun-Tzu's classic The Art of War quickly made Greene a New York Times Bestselling author and became a bible for hustlers everywhere.

It also started making the rounds within the hip hop community and fell into the hands of the ultimate 'hustla'- rapper 50 cent. So began what could appear on the surface to be an odd personal and professional relationship between Robert Greene, a white, Jew from Los Angeles, and 50 Cent, who's survived the mean streets of Queens - replete with drug dealing, being jailed and shot - to enjoy his current multi-platinum music status in Hollywood.

But after meeting in person, the two clicked and decided to collaborate on The 50th Law: 10 Lessons in Fearlessness. I recently spoke to Greene about the new book and working with 50 Cent:
