280 Slides Builds Presentations in Your Browser

There are countless ways to create presentations online: Acrobat Presentations, Google Docs, SlideRocket, Zoho Show -- the list goes on and on. And on: 280 Slides lets you build presentations right inside your browser.

Sporting an interface that's both attractive and instantly intuitive, 280 Slides gives you the tools to whip up professional-looking presentations in no time. For example, this slide took me all of about three minutes:

280 Slides lets you upload/embed multimedia goodies like pictures and videos, though it doesn't appear to have any transition tools just yet.

When you're done with your presentation, you can save it to the site, download it in various popular formats (including PowerPoint and PDF), or share it via SlideShare or an embed/link.

For the time being, 280 Slides is free, and registration is required only if you want to save your presentation. I'm not saying it's the best presentation builder I've ever seen, but it's definitely worth a look if you want to throw together a slideshow without spending money on PowerPoint or going to the trouble of installing OpenOffice.
