2-hr Twitter outage leaves millions tweetless

Twitter service was unavailable to many users for about two hours early Saturday morning.

A message from the text messaging service said that it was "currently experiencing elevated error rates.

"You may experience some problems loading twitter.com and with Twitter clients. We are aware of the problem and are taking action."

Twitter service was also unavailable with some third-party clients.

Service was back up for many about 10:00 a.m., prompting Wordydiva to tweet, "Yes! Twitter outage fixed. Can go back to being completely unproductive."
