Water, Profanities Thrown At Fox News Contributor Tomi Lahren In Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A popular and controversial Fox News contributor had a rough encounter at a Minneapolis bar.
Even President Donald Trump weighed in. As WCCO's Kate Raddatz show us, it's a story going viral on Facebook and Twitter.
Videos taken by brunch goers at a Minneapolis restaurant shows Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren having a glass of water thrown at her. Lahren then confronts the woman, while others at the restaurant yell profanities at her.
"You don't have to like me but you don't have to throw things at me if you don't like my opinions," Lahren said on "Fox and Friends."
Lahren addressed the incident on Fox and Friends Wednesday. She had been in Minneapolis for a show at the Pantages Theatre a day earlier.
The 25-year-old is known for conservative and often controversial opinions, once calling Black Lives Matter the new KKK.
"It's really disheartening but again I'm tough. I can handle it," Lahren said.

"She walked out and the drink was thrown. Everybody started screaming," Devan Madison said.
Devan Madison was sitting at the table next to the woman who threw the drink at Lahren. He says it happened during brunch at Union Restaurant.
"If you say these types of things about, not even just about blacks in general, but gays, lesbians all across the board here. What do you expect?" Madison said.
The incident even caught the attention of President Donald Trump. He tweeted, "Everybody is with Tomi Lahren, a truly outstanding and respected young woman!"
Union Restaurant told WCCO they immediately escorted the woman who threw the drink, as well as her group, out of the restaurant. They said in part: "It is our goal to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all our guests. We expect that diners at our restaurant will conduct themselves accordingly."
