Bjorklund's free throws help Tommies edge out Bengals 54-53
Parker Bjorklund scored 21 points, including two free throws in the closing seconds, as St. Thomas beat Idaho State 54-53 on Friday night.
Bjorklund had 12 rebounds for the Tommies (1-1). Raheem Anthony scored 19 points while going 7 of 12 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 4 for 5 from the line, and added nine rebounds. Kendall Blue shot 3 of 6 from the field and 1 for 4 from the line to finish with seven points.

Isaiah Griffin finished with 12 points and six rebounds for the Bengals (1-1). Idaho State also got 11 points and two steals from Miguel Tomley. In addition, Brayden Parker had eight points and six rebounds.
