MINNEAPOLIS -- Metro Transit light rail service has resumed, after it was temporarily suspended due to a "critical communications error" on Saturday afternoon.

Service went down around 12:50 p.m. and was back up around 2:20 p.m.

METRO update 2:18 PM: Service has resumed on the Blue Line (except between 30th Ave and Mall of America) and Green Line. Previously-scheduled replacement bus service continues to operate Stadium Village to Union Depot. Thank you for your patience. ^CB https://t.co/iM7Nyu9ZsG

Metro Transit says they're still working to determine the cause of the "error."
