MIAMI (CBSMIAMI) -- Wildlife officials said they have found the remains of another Florida panther.

The remains, found on Tuesday, were that of a two and a half year old uncollared female panther.

They were found on Corkscrew Road about 1 mile southwest of the junction with SR82 in Collier County according to officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

The cause of death was determined to be a vehicle collision.

Officials sent the carcass to the FWC Research Lab in Gainesville for a necropsy.

This is the 38th Florida panther death and the 27th road death for 2015, wildlife officials said.
