10 homes you can buy for $6 million

How much house can $6 million buy? Quite a bit, in most markets.

At more than 30 times the national median home value, which is $191,200 according to Zillow, these properties unsurprisingly offer higher-end amenities than most American homes. Many have luxury entertainment options like home movie theaters, personal gyms, sports courts and indoor swimming pools.

They also tend to come with plenty of living space. Looking on the Upper East Side of Manhattan? You could get four bedrooms and two walk-in pantries. Looking in Miami, Florida? There's a nine-bedroom manse with a hot tub and cabana that needs an owner.
