Pilot, bystander injured after plane crash in Long Beach soccer field

The Long Beach Fire Department said the plane crashed at around 4 p.m. in Heartwell Park. Firefighters helped an elderly man out of the plane and took him to the hospital. Paramedics also took a pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, to the hospital.
