Person taken to hospital following a Dana Point shooting involving OC sheriff's deputies

Just after 4 a.m., deputies respond to reports of a woman screaming at a condominium complex, and deputies said there was a confrontation with someone at the Dana Point site. Shots were fired and a person was transported to a hospital.
