Lightning strikes transformer in Fontana, cutting power for hundreds of residents
As a wild monsoonal storm moved through the Southland Wednesday, the city of Fontana was one of the many regions directly affected by lightning, after a transformer was struck by a bolt of lightning, causing the electrical pole to catch on fire and cutting power for hundreds of residents.
