Investigators working to identify what led to killing of Merced County family

Authorities say the suspected killer, 48-year old Jesus Salgado, previously served time for a similar kidnapping and armed robbery, but was paroled in 2015. The Merced County Sheriff says the motive for the crime appears to be money, and additional suspects may be involved.
