Infamous mastermind behind Chowchilla bus kidnapping gets parole

Frederick Woods, the man behind a plan to kidnap a bus full of children for ransom in exchange for $5 million, was granted parole after being denied 17 times prior. He, along with two other men, buried the 26 children and their bus driver inside of a moving truck before they managed to escape.
