The two candidates were asked in the CBS Local Forum: What is your urban agenda? Name a few struggling cities and define how your agenda would specifically affect them?
Americans continually hear that the president of the United States can do nothing about gas prices. John Hofmeister says that isn't true. The doubled gas prices could have been avoided but no one in a political position who can do anything about the prices wants to do anything.

Preparing for this debate has got to be the most depressing thing Obama has ever done. It's going to be terrible for Obama.
