LONG BEACH (CBS) — A woman faces charges of killing her boyfriend's 2-year-old son four years ago as she baby-sat him in Long Beach.

Jennifer Garcia, 26, of Long Beach, was arrested Friday in Stanton.

Garcia was caring for the child when he fell down a flight of stairs in November of 2006.

He was taken to a hospital and put on life support before dying the next day.

Police did not say why Garcia was suspected of killing the child, but said that several agencies and the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office aided the investigation.

Garcia was booked on suspicion of murder and held on $1 million bail.
