WNBA Latino Celebration Night Returns To STAPLES Center

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The WNBA Latino Celebration Night is back by popular demand this Saturday.

Last year's event honored Latino culture and was the L.A. Sparks second most attended game at the STAPLES Center.

Radio personality Kiki Melendez visited KCAL9 to talk about the musical and comedic performances, including acts by R&B and pop sensation Frankie J and Comedy Central comedian Joey Vega.

"Latino Celebration Night is one of the most energetic games of the season as it allows the Sparks and our fans to honor Southern California's rich Latino Culture," Sparks President Vinnie Malcolm said.  "In addition to an exciting basketball game, we look forward to enjoying the musical sounds and comedic performances throughout the game and postgame."
