SoCal Bank Robber Killed By Police In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) — A bank robber linked to a pair of heists in Orange County was shot and killed by officers in San Francisco.
Police said the "Gen X" bandit tried to run over undercover San Francisco police officers in a stolen car. When the suspect failed to stop, they opened fire. The "Gen X" bandit died later at an area hospital, officials said.
According to the FBI, the suspect was responsible for the robberies of the Chase and Comerica banks in Irvine on May 17.
